Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party!

Every time I asked Jackson what kind of birthday party he wanted he said "a yellow one" I was confused and didn't know what he wanted or what he was talking about! So since this is probably the last year I can choose the theme I chose two things he loves - airplanes and balloons!

He loved the theme and all the crafts I made for it. When he saw the banner, paper airplanes and hot air balloons I made he was so excited!

My cousin Lilli made the cake and cookies again for us! She did such a great job!

Arts and crafts time!
The kids painted wooden shapes and also canvases with their names on them. They painted over the whole thing and then after it dried peeled the letters off to reveal their name in white. The kids loved it!

He loved everyone singing happy birthday to him!

He had a very happy birthday and we are so happy so many of his friends and family could come celebrate. He got some super fun gifts including: a scooter, bicycle, stomp rocket launcher, puzzles, games, fish nightlight, books, lincoln logs, boogie board, bubbles and squirt guns, fishing pole, sand toys and more!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet boy!

Easter Weekend

We have had a busy and fun weekend! We kicked it off on Friday by going to my friend Stephanie's house. Jackson hadn't been able to have a play date with Will in a while. He was so excited! They were thrilled to see each other and played so well together!

We dyed Easter eggs while we were there. They did great with them and didn't even make a huge mess. Our eggs turned out nothing like the kits though! The boys had a blast and the babies did great too. They napped, ate and played a little.

Our eggs turned out just like the pictures on the box, huh?!

On Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at my friend Sydnee's and then we went to Rian and Meghan's for a cookout. Rian's parents and sister were there and after a few minutes of Jackson being shy he started having fun and playing. Danny, Candice and the kids came too so Jackson and Sofia played. They had egg hunts inside. Candice hid them and then they would find them and re-hide them.

It looks like they were running in the street but its a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood. And no cars around!

Jackson didn't know most of the other kids and got a little shy

Sunday after Jackson woke up he came to see what the Easter bunny left and realized that he also left some eggs hidden in the house so he started hunting for eggs. Then we did an egg hunt outside with our neighbors and then headed to brunch with Jimmy's family. We got to see some extended family and cousins and such and had a great time. We did another egg hunt over at Jennifer's after brunch. He loves some egg hunts! He rarely gets candy so its been a special treat to be able to eat some candy! I hid bubbles, goldfish, half dollars, balloons, and fruit snacks in the ones we hid.

Books and a toy (Camden's) bubbles, gardening tools, new toothbrush and puzzles (Jackson's) were in the Easter baskets

He was excited about the egg hunt inside! Started searching right away

Camden just hung out
