Strawberry Picking

Jackson played hooky from school and we went strawberry picking! I had been wanting to go for several years. We headed up to Warbington Farms. Camden gets car sick often and we had just gotten off the exit and were only a couple miles away and all of a sudden he throws up all over himself. He didn't want to go home and I knew it was just him being car sick so when I stopped I cleaned him up and changed him into what I had in my car which happened to be a bathing suit since we were doing swim lessons everyday! I'm glad we stayed because we had so much fun and picked so many yummy beautiful strawberries!

Mother's Day 2016

I had woken up this morning with so much pain in my neck I could not even turn it. It was so hard taking pictures especially when Camden always wants me to pick him up.

Jimmy and I had been out the night before and our babysitter that came to watch the boys brought all the supplies to make these sweet presents for me!

Beautiful tulips Jimmy got for me. After we had brunch we came home and rested and I got to lay around and read my book. Then I was able to go get a massage to try to help my neck pain. Such a wonderful day with my family!

Cinco de Jackson!

Since Jackson was turning 5 and it was so close to Cinco de Mayo, we decided to have a fiesta for Jackson's birthday.

Jackson said he wanted cookie cake for his birthday so I set out baking cookie cakes and had an idea to make it into a sombrero for our fiesta! I used a waffle bowl in the center and icing as decorations.

After 5 birthday parties held at our house over the years we had always gotten lucky with perfect weather. I knew one day we wouldn't be so lucky. That was this year! It poured all morning. So we moved the tables and chair onto the screened porch.

And had lots and lots of people inside our house! Coloring pages and crayons saved the day!

We had rented a big bouncy house for the party too. Finally it stopped raining but everything was still soaked outside. The kids went out to jump and slide and it was like a giant slip n slide! They all got soaked! But had a great time.
