Bar Harbor, Maine 2016 for Rian and Meghan's Wedding!

Jimmy's longtime friend Rian and his fiance Meghan decided to tie the knot in Bar Harbor, Maine over Memorial Day weekend. Meghan is from the New England area and her family has gone to Bar Harbor during summers for years. It is such a beautiful place and we were so excited to have a reason to travel to Maine and spend a fun weekend with friends celebrating their wedding. We all flew up together from Atlanta to Portland, Maine. It's about a 3 hour drive from Portland, Maine to Bar Harbor.

On the flight!

We all piled in our rented minivan and were on our way. Some people in the car might have decided it was time for a beverage on the way!
We stopped at a place for dinner that got good reviews on yelp. All we wanted...Lobster Rolls! My oh my was it tasty! And so much fresh lobster!
After a quick stop at our house we rented for the weekend we walked to a bar to hang out with the bride and groom and other wedding guests

Latte at breakfast the next morning

 Cute and delicious breakfast spot!

Walking back to our house

After breakfast and a walk down by the water we drove to Acadia National Park and hiked around. The views were amazing and the weather could not have been more perfect! Blue sunny skies and probably high 70s or low 80s!

All 9 of us piled in the minivan. It was a bit of a tight squeeze!

Stunning views!

Climb up, Jimmy! Lol!

After a lazy afternoon back at the house we headed to the Bar Harbor Inn for dinner

Sunday was wedding day! We had breakfast and hung around and then headed over for the 12 noon wedding!
Curling my hair...a 45 min process!

Such a great and fun group of friends!
After the wedding and reception we changed into our warmest clothes for the sunset boat cruise. It was only about 45 degrees that night.

We found some fun hats to help stay warm. Guys were moose and the girls were lobsters! Sadly our hats didn't cover our ears. We were so cold!

Matt and Sarah had to leave at 3 am to catch their flight. Nothing like a group of 40 years olds rolling a car! Haha! We all laughed about it, not so sure they laughed at 3 am about it!
