Baseball - Fall 2015

Jackson enjoyed playing baseball this season. He was always "baseball ready" in the outfield but sometimes watched the ball roll right by him without running for it.  He loved batting and did awesome with coach-pitch baseball for his very first season! Hopefully he wants to play again in the Spring!

Newtown Cubs

Jackson has been asking to play baseball for a long time. We missed the sign up period last season so I made sure to be more on top of it this time! He wanted to do coach pitch which is 5 year olds (turning 6). Kids are allowed to play up a year so I told him he could play but was he sure he wanted to play with kids that could be 2 years older than him. They start off the season hitting off the T but by the 3rd week they took the T away and started pitching all the balls.

Practice our first night. Dark clouds and some thunder cut the practice short and everyone was disappointed. Working on throwing and catching ground balls.

Enjoying the Spring Weather Outside!

We've been spending lots of time outside enjoying the spring weather!

 The boys and I walked to the park one day while Jimmy played tennis.

 When we got back he was washing his Jeep and the boys both wanted to help.

Jackson is a crazy good frisbee thrower. He does so much right handed but throws baseballs and frisbees left handed! He throws way better than I ever could.

 We love spending time outside in the yard playing with our boys. I hope they grow up loving the outdoors and always wanting to run around and be active! That is how we grew up. And we had to earn our TV time by reading and once Jackson and Camden are old enough I will probably start the same rules!
