It was pretty warm out on Christmas Eve!

The Pointer Sisters were probably my all time fave when I was younger. I was obsessed with "Jump" and "I'm So Excited!" Ha!

Santa came!

 David and I used to have these animals called Sylvanian Families. Now there are very similar animals called Calico Critters out. They just aren't quite the same as they used to be! So, I happened to have our old box of animals and some furniture. We got the boys the "Lake Lodge" to play with.

 Gigi came over for Christmas morning too!

I just think these animals are so darn cute! And all the furniture and clothing too! 

 

We had breakfast and had a lazy morning. Around midday we packed up and drove to the lake.

Visit with Santa

We had to wait a few minutes before it was our turn to visit with Santa. They were messing around and clearly someone was not super happy!

Santa 2014

Jackson was excited to see Santa but had been telling us for several weeks that he didn't want to sit in his lap. We told him he definitely doesn't have to. So its our turn and we walk up to see Santa. Camden is already a mess and Jackson sits down next to Santa and says "don't touch me." He seems happy enough to talk to Santa and tell him what was on his wish list: a pogo stick and a whistle.

 This was when Santa says to me, "Mom come get Camden"

At the end Jackson decides to give Santa a hug goodbye. After we left the mall he says "I like Santa. I not afraid of him anymore." We'll see how he does next year!

After Santa we went to eat pizza at Avellino's. Delish! A fun night for sure!
