Lake Weekend

We went to the lake recently. We hadn't been since June! After we went in June we went to the beach for the 4th of July and it was just the week after that that I had my hospital stay and then got put on bedrest for the remainder of my pregnancy.

It was a gorgeous fall weekend! Jackson enjoyed swimming in the pool with Papa. It was all he talked about the whole ride there! He also kept naming everyone who would be there: Nana, Papa, Mommy, Daddy, Baby Tammen (Camden), Max, Wucy (Lucy), Chooper (Cooper). His new thing is constantly naming off people he knows or will see.

The water was warm but the air outside was chilly! Papa heated the pool to 85 degrees!

We went to the playground one afternoon. Jackson was all about the monkey bars. I was barely holding on to him but was not going to let him do it completely by himself. I did not want a trip to the ER for a broken bone! He is one strong boy!

We went on a boat ride on Sunday morning before we left. I think this was Jackson's favorite boat ride yet. He really enjoyed it!

What a nice weekend at the lake! I'm sure we will plan on going again soon. We were all set to put Jackson in the bed since he's used to sleeping in his big boy bed but he actually wanted to sleep in the crib there! Ha! So we obliged! Camden slept in the newborn napper part of the pack and play in our room. Jackson really enjoyed playing with his toys at the lake and was happy to cook up some pretend goodies on his kitchen there.

We have been spending plenty of time snuggling, playing outside (mommy comes out to sit and watch), eating yummy popsicles, and Jeep rides with daddy. Good times! :)
