Zoo Day - November 2015

It was a gorgeous Friday so we decided to go to the zoo.

Oddly enough, I've always missed the aviary exhibit at the zoo. We went today though. There were hundreds of birds in there!

Waiting for the train. I honestly couldn't even believe I looked up and saw this happening in front of me. They DO like each other sometimes! Lol!

Going through the tunnel. Ha! One thought it was loud and one wasn't sure at all!

Special Time!

Jackson had been asking to go to Nana and Papa's by himself for a while and we finally found a few days it would work out! Nana drove him back with her on a Thursday afternoon. He had a blast with them and getting 100% of the attention. Camden also enjoyed having all of mommy and daddy's attention.

 Jackson's request for dinner: spaghetti and meatballs! So they met Papa at the Italian restaurant on their way!

 Swimming at the Lake Club and eating lunch. He loves watermelon!

Jackson and Papa spent lots of time playing with legos and Jackson was proud that he sorted and stacked these by color!

Meanwhile, we decided to go to the Zoo with Camden. He was excited to see the waffe (giraffe!)

That night there was a concert at the park by our house.

We got there early and set up in a good spot

The sky all evening was beautiful!

Everyone had a fun weekend but it sure was great when we were all 4 back together!

Zoo - April 2015

I decided to take the boys to the zoo on Good Friday. Honestly I didn't think it would be very busy since most kids were still in school. It was packed but we still managed to have a great time!

Since we had to walk so far from where we parked I brought the double stroller. But Camden didn't want to ride between exhibits. He wanted to do everything Jackson did. It was tough with so many other people around. And navigating with the double BOB stroller and two little ones was tough!

The gorillas were so active today! Many times they are just sitting around or sleeping in their hammocks. There were some super cute baby gorillas running around too!

We also saw the tiger out walking around. Normally the tiger is always in the corner sleeping and its hard to see it!
