Goooo Dawgs!

We took Jackson to his first UGA football game aganst Troy State. Danny, Candice and Sofia met us in Athens that morning for a quick tailgate before heading into the game. We were able to buy some awesome tickets in the end zone that even had seat cushions and backrests. Camden stayed at the lake with Nana and Papa. The kids had a great time cheering for the Dawgs and watching for Uga VII (mascot) or Hairy Dog as well as watching and listening to the band play and watching the painted people do pushups when UGA scored a touchdown.

We joked how we could see them like this in 15 years. Holding hands walking around UGA in their freshman year of college!
On the way home. He was so tired but had a great day!

Camden's Cake Smash

My sweet, talented friend Caroline (Full Measure Photography) took photos for Camden's 1st Birthday Cake Smash. It was a fun morning and he was really into it. I absolutely adore the old wooden highchair Caroline had. I had made a few decorations and picked up a smash cake, cupcakes, and some balloons.

Jackson enjoyed his cupcake too! He was trying to be messy like Camden.

Camden's 1st Birthday Party!

We decided to go with the Dr Seuss theme "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" for Camden's 1st birthday party. I made lots of the decorations but also found many things at Target and the craft stores.

Displaying all the wonderful photos Caroline took.

My cousin Lillie once again made the cake, cookies and cupcakes. She has done Jackson's birthday cake twice and has also made me cookies to take to a baby shower. She is wonderful!

I found two patterns of Dr Seuss fabric and made little tablecloths. I also made the wooden signs with Dr Seuss quotes. Party favors were copies of the book.

Camden ate part of his smash cake but didn't go crazy with it like he did for our photo shoot. Nana gave him some fruit and he chose to eat that instead of his cake!

Sadly, I didn't get many other pictures from the birthday party but hopefully I can get some from Nana or Papa and add them later.
