G-Day Game 2016

Every spring UGA holds G-Day. The football team has a scrimmage and it is free for everyone to attend. We decided to go this year and headed up mid morning.

Jackson fell asleep in the car on the way there

We met up with some friends there and tailgated for a bit in the parking lot. The kids had a ball eating snacks, drinking juice, and blowing bubbles!

After a while we headed into the stadium. We walked down to the hedges and then someone in the first row said they were about to leave and did we want their seats?! So we sat front row almost on the 50 yd line!

We all had such a fun day and definitely plan to go back next year!

We took Jackson to his first UGA football game aganst Troy State. Danny, Candice and Sofia met us in Athens that morning for a quick tailgate before heading into the game. We were able to buy some awesome tickets in the end zone that even had seat cushions and backrests. Camden stayed at the lake with Nana and Papa. The kids had a great time cheering for the Dawgs and watching for Uga VII (mascot) or Hairy Dog as well as watching and listening to the band play and watching the painted people do pushups when UGA scored a touchdown.
