An Impromptu Day at the Aquarium

Jimmy decided to take the day off so we went to breakfast at Waffle House (I think it was Jackson's 2nd time and Camden's 1st time at Waffle House!) and then went to a furniture store to look for things for the basement.

After our furniture shopping we were heading home and out of the blue I suggested we go to the Aquarium. The kids were super excited when the figured out where we were going.

Of course when Lis is around I always get her to help me learn things on my camera and teach me how to be a better photographer! I have a long way to go! Honestly these days I hardly spend any time playing with my camera. Someday I'll have more time right?!

This boy definitely gets his hair from me! Super thick coarse hair that easily changes color when the sun is on it!

We went to this spot Lis found to try to get some family pictures of all of us. The sun was setting fast, but it was a pretty spot.

Remember seeing a big mud puddle in the earlier pictures of the boys running? Well Camden was jumping in it and then fell. He was completely soaked in mud! Had to strip him down and go home to change clothes before going to dinner.
