Sanibel Island - part 2
Rae drove over from Miami for a visit. She hadn't met Camden and Sebastian yet and hadn't seen Jackson since David and Lis's wedding! Needless to say a lot has changed and we hope to be able to see her again soon!
We also got to celebrate Dad's birthday yet I don't seem to have any photos from it. Jackson loved singing happy birthday to both Dad and David! Mom, Lis and I also got treated to the spa for Valentines Day! It was wonderful!! We had such a great time spending a few days away with family. I am already looking forward to this getaway next year too.
Sebastian loves his spoon
Getting so strong already!

Sanibel Island - Part 1
In the midst of the crazy Georgia weather we escaped to the beach. Just two weeks after the first snow storm that shut down Atlanta they were predicting another snow/ice storm. Our flight was scheduled for Wednesday but when we realized what they were predicting I changed our flights to Tuesday. As fun as it is to play in the snow, I'd much rather be on the beach!
Our flight went pretty good. Jackson sat in his carseat on the plane and Camden was in my arms. It's only about an hour and a half flight. He nursed on takeoff and landing and snoozed a little bit of the way. Jackson on the other hand missed his nap so it was a long day for him. He was so tired yet didn't fall asleep on the plane. We forgot to pack Curious George so we had to stop at Target and get a new stuffed animal for him. When we got to the condo he saw his new Mickey Mouse and was so excited. He thought Mickey belonged to the condo and kept asking "pease may I hold him", "pease may I take him home."
We had a delicious dinner that first evening, shrimp scampi with quinoa and roasted broccoli. After dinner Jackson had a blast playing with Sebastian on the floor.
It's hard to see but I did write Jackson's name in the same with shells. That's about as creative as I get!

Camden in the bjorn walking through the airport and Jackson riding in his carseat attached to the Britax travel cart. Very cool!

Camden and Sebastian with David
The next morning we took some professional family photos and as soon as we were done Jackson was so excited to get out to the beach and play!
We tried to spend lots of time at the beach! It was chilly and windy but still had fun walking on the beach and digging in the sand
Lots of people go out early in the mornings and make cool creations out of shells. We did not make this!
Chasing the birds. One of my favorite memories from last trip to Sanibel was him chasing the birds!

Cousins!
Stay tuned to part 2...please excuse the photo overload! Too many wonderful memories I don't want to forget!
