Fall Hiking and Corn Maze

Jimmy took the day off work and we went up to Amicalola Falls to go hiking and see the beautiful fall leaves changing colors. We went last year too and had a great time. I love this new fall tradition!

Camden is always putting his hands in his pockets.

Halfway there! So even though Camden is obviously walking this year he still didn't want much to do with waking or hiking up! Jimmy and I took turns carrying him. Now that's a workout. Climbing hundreds and hundreds of steps while carrying a 30 lb toddler on your hip!

Me and my big boy!

Beautiful colors on the trees

He was obsessed with wearing his hat today. And not only that he pulled it so far down you couldn't see his eyes and I'm not sure he could even see!

The faces he gives me!

On our way to the Falls we passed a couple of corn mazes. We had never been so after leaving Amicalola Falls we decided to stop at one. We had packed lunch and ate it on the way. It was definitely the end of the season but we were happy to be able to do it! There were only like 2 other family's there so we had the whole thing to ourselves!

Here we go!

So, the man told us it had rained a lot and it was super muddy inside. And not only that there was some standing water which made it super slippery. I had some brand new shoes on so I opted to go barefoot. It was so fun! It was very soft squishy mud and felt great on my toes.
Jackson opted for shoes but rolled his pants up some

Corn
Camden wanted to go barefoot but only took about 5 or 6 steps before realizing he wanted to be held the whole way

So the corn maze was in the shape of a wolf... There were about 8 check points we had to find and get our map hole punched. Many of them were down dead ends so we had to explore every part of the maze. Jackson was our guide and did awesome! So much fun!
