Memorial Day

We went to the lake for Memorial Day weekend and had a few friends joined us. Danny, Candice and Sofia came as well as Stephanie and Will (Wayne was out of town for work - Boo!). We had such a fun weekend playing in the pool, taking boat rides, eating yummy meals, playing pool and shuffleboard and relaxing with a nice glass of wine once the kids were asleep! Mom and Dad were wonderful as always and so helpful with the cooking and also helping with the kids.

He was much happier when we took the life vest off and put on Sofia's life vest. Yes, he had a bright pink flower on him but he enjoyed the boat ride at least!

One morning we decided to take the kids to the pool at The Landings. It is so kid friendly and has the zero entry, water mushroom, slide and splash park. We went right when it opened at 10 am since they would have to go down for naps around 1:30. Jackson is the only one who still takes 2 naps so we skipped his morning nap and luckily he did ok. He had fun and only got whiny towards the end! It was definitely time to head home for lunch and naps around 12:15!

What a fun weekend! Sorry for the picture overload - there were just too many to choose from! We are so lucky to have such a great place to go for weekends and its so close. It is truly like a resort! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality mom and dad!
