Jackson started waving this month! He even says something sort of like "hi". It sounds a bit more like haaaa haaaa. He lights up when he sees his daddy walk into the room!
He is still always standing and cruises around furniture some. A few times he's let go and stood for a second before dropping onto his bottom. I don't think he is super close to walking but he could very possibly be by his first birthday.
Jackson is so adventurous with food now (or maybe I am since I am the deciding what he eats!) He really loves feeding himself. The only purees I give him anymore are yogurt and unsweetened applesauce. He has had chicken, pork, brisket and steak. He loves fruits and veggies - green beans, peas, carrots, corn, black beans, strawberries, peaches, apples, melon, cantaloupe, grapes, pineapple and more! He really enjoys eggs for breakfast and loves pancakes, waffles and even bits of toast to chew on. He loved cheese but we cut back on that some. He still only has 2 bottom teeth but does a great job eating! He eats three meals a day and nurses 4 times a day still. He has really started drinking water out of his sippy cup and even has had water out of a cup a couple times.
Mmmm waffles!
While Jackson was sick (the sickness wound up lasting almost 2 weeks total) he was not sleeping very well. He was waking up during the night screaming. Since it was not normal for him we were going in some and cuddling him and rocking him. For a couple nights he refused to even be put back down. We had to basically sleep in the chair with him asleep on us :( Once he was all better he went back to sleeping so much better. He is sleeping from about 7 - 6:30 or 7am these days.
He is still a little guy. We have gotten lots of wear out of our 6-9 month clothes! He is wearing some 12 month onesies now. But still 9 months in pants and pajamas. Jackson is about 17.5 lbs.
He loves to play with his feet and is really helpful during diaper changes holding onto the diapers for you. He crawls so fast to the bathroom as soon as he hears the water running for his bath. He loves watching Cooper and Annabelle and they are both really good about letting him grab them and try to pet them. He loves to smile, wave and laugh at people especially when he is sitting up in the shopping cart - he is such a flirt! We got a new jogging stroller and he loves going for long strolls throughout the neighborhood and to the park. He loves swinging. He loves to be outside. He loves talking and says all kinds of sounds these days.

Will and I swinging one day on his new swingset! Crazy hair
"Cheese" face
Chicks dig me!
He loves to read this peek-a-boo book and on the last page always kisses the mirror!
Climbed inside the stool
This month was one of the more exhausting ones! Between being sick and me getting sucked into doing some work for my old company again I have been busy! The weather has been fantastic here and it does make me very excited for spring and summer :) I am knee deep in party planning for his 1st birthday next month. How is he almost 1 already?!?
