Cruising Up the Coast

After the wedding we decided to spend a few more days in California and venture up the coast to Santa Barbara.

The next day we decided to drive to a little town called Solvang. It looks like a little Denmark. Gorgeous views on our drive.

 

 

 We then drove to Los Olivos. It is a little town in the center of Santa Barbara's 50 wineries. Each winery has a tasting room located there and there are lots of other cute shops and cafes.

 When we got back that afternoon we went out to the beach. The water was freezing cold and even the air was chilly and breezy so we just strolled around. Jackson loved watching the waves crash and had fun playing in the sand and being thrown in the air!

Jackson was all tuckered out at the end of the day...and by the end of our trip! We had so much fun and Jackson did really well. I do think he was ready to go home and get back on his normal schedule. He was pretty cranky on the flight home. He only slept for about 45 min and cried for a lot of it. I think we pushed him to his max after always being on the go all day. It sure was a fun trip though!
